PURPOSE:To momentarily wipe muddy water splashed by a car and the like running in the opposite direction during traveling and secure the vision by providing a wiper switch of instantaneous operation, operated by means of an operational knob, in a housing provided in a steering column. CONSTITUTION:A housing 3 provided in a steering column 2 is equipped with a return projecting piece 6 with a slant face 5. A fixed point 7 of contact and a fixed armature 8 are adhered to said projecting piece 6, and between them, a terminal strip 10 for an instantaneous wiper fitted with a movable armature 9 is further arranged. Furthermore, a swinging body 15 is provided on a support projecting piece 13 of the housing 3 so as to freely swivel. The swinging body 15 is swiveled through holding an operational knob 25 in the direction of an arrow B, and puts the movable armature 9 in contact with the fixed point 7 of contact, and puts a wiper circuit in ON state. When the holding force for the operational knob 25 is released, a ball 19 is pushed out by elasticity of a spring 19 provided in the swinging body 15 and slides on a slant face 15, then the swinging body 15 return to a position which is in contact with a stopper 12. |
