发明名称 MANUFACTURE OF CATHODE FOR X-RAY TUBE
摘要 PURPOSE:To achieve manufacture of a cathode for an X-ray tube by which an X-ray focus with a homogeneous electron distribution is obtained with a simple structure and which realizes high accuracy and work efficiency and enables automatization by providing two parallel discontinuous slits around the center of a tungsten disk so as to form a filament and focusing electrodes. CONSTITUTION:Two parallel discontinuos slits 9 and 10 are perforated around the center of a tungsten disk plate 20 by etching discharge work or the like. A ribbon-like filament 11 and semicircular focusing electrodes 12 are to be formed owing to the slits 9 and 10. Next, the ends of the filament 11 are folded along the discontinuous areas 23, 24, 25 and 26 of the slits 9 and 10. Then a disk 20 is superimposed on a separately prepared supporter ring 10 before the focusing electrodes 12 and the supporter ring 16 are stuck together. After that, folded sections 11a and 11b at the ends of the filament 11 are respectively stuck to stem pins 14 and 15, and the supporter ring 16 is stuck to stem pins 17, 18 and 19.
