PURPOSE:To provide a work ship for smoothly anchoring a slurry tanker or the like even in stormy weather, by installing a crane to move up and down a small boat having a hook for catching and releasing the anchoring rope of a one-point- anchoring buoy floating near the sea surface. CONSTITUTION:A small boat 4, which has a hook for catching and releasing the anchoring rope of a one-point-anchroing buoy floating near the sea surface, is provided to anchor a slurry tanker or the like. The boat 4 can be moved up and down by a crane 5 on the steren of a work ship 1. In such stormy weather that the small boat 4 cannot be navigated from a port, prescribed anchoring work is carried out offshore.
