PURPOSE:To automate tests in plural communication modes by storing pieces of switching information of the transmitting operation corresponding to each of plural communication modes in a memory, and reading time by a microprocessor and controlling the transmitting operation. CONSTITUTION:When a communication test is taken between facsimile FX equipments 1 and 2 of CCITT standard GIII, pieces of switching information on transmitting operation in plural communication modes are stored in a test mode setting memory 10. A test switch 13 is pressed to read a transmit original by a reading circuit 3, and the read data is converted into FX codes by an encoding/ decoding circuit 5. The microprocessor MPU9 read pieces of transmission switching information out of the memory 10 successively to switch the communication modes automatically according to the pieces of information, and sends the FX code signal from the circuit 5 to the equipment 2 through a modem 6 and an NCU7 under procedure control of standard GIII. |
