<p>PURPOSE:To provide a brake device of an electric rolling stock having safety and high reliability by detecting the disconnecting defect of a circuit for amplifying a signal in response to the generated brake force of an electric brake and the defect shortcircuit of a transistor and processing the defects. CONSTITUTION:When a disconnection defect occurs, the voltage of a detecting terminal 15 becomes 0V or 100V in response to the disconnecting position. When this is detected, it is judged to cause the disconnection defect, to stop an electric brake so as to prevent the excessive brake force from generating, and to use only a pneumatic brake. When a transistor 9 is shortcircuited, the voltage of the detecting terminal 15 becomes 100XR3/(R1+R3)V. When this voltage is detected, it is judged to shortcircuit the transistor 9, to stop the electric brake so as to obtain suitable brake force, and to open a switch 16, thereby setting the output of a circuit for amplifying the signal in response to the produced brake force of the electric brake to zero. The disconnection defect of the amplifier and the defect shortcircuit of the transistor 9 are detected and suitably processed.</p> |
