PURPOSE:To provide a soil-treatment herbicide useful especially for the treatment of cotton field, by using 6-t-butyl-4-methylamino-3-methylthio-1,2,4-triazin- 5(4H)-one as an active component. CONSTITUTION:The objective herbicide contains 2-80wt% of 6-t-butyl-4-methylamino-3-methylthio-1,2,4-triazin-5(4H)-one. The herbicide exhibits excellent selectivity to cotton, and effectively controls the harmful weeds in the cotton field, e.g. sensitive-joint-vetch, oriental senna, Indian mallow, cockleblur, etc.
