PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for feed water piping parts, to save the space in feed water piping, and to reduce the total cost by providing a turbine type flow meter with a pulse oscillating mechanism, and detecting and discriminating its abnormal variation value by a discriminator. CONSTITUTION:A feed water pump 3 is provided in a feed water line 2 extending to a boiler 1 and the turbine type flow meter 4 which oscillates to generate pulses proportional to a flow rate is also provided in the feed water line 2 between the boiler 1 and feed water pump 3. The discriminator 5 wherein the standard variation value of oscillation pulses of the turbine type flow meter 4 to the flow rate in the feed water line 2 is set previously is provided, and the pulse oscillation part of said turbine type flow meter 4 and the discriminator 5 are connected together by a signal line 6. Consequently, feed water piping parts such as a manometer and a pressure recording device are unnecessary; the space in the feed water piping is saved and the total cost is reduced. |
