PURPOSE:To obtain a brush which has high flexibility and high energizing capacity by thermally setting one end of a prepreg sheet impregnated with thermosetting resin, curing the other in a cooled state, and removing the uncured resin held in cooled state by a solvent. CONSTITUTION:A carbon fiber is arranged in one direction, thermosetting resin such as epoxy resin is impregnated to form a prepreg sheet. One of the longitudinal direction of the fiber of the sheet 3 is interposed between the pressing plates 1 and 2 of a hot press, heated, pressurized and cured, the sheet 3 extended to an air passage 5 formed of the plates 1, 2 and a cooling cover 4 is cooled by cooling air evaporated from liquid nitrogen or the like, and held in an uncured state. Then the uncured resin is cleaned and removed by a solvent such as acetone. In this manner, a brush which has high flexibility and high energizing capacity can be obtained. |
