PURPOSE:To restrain the temperature rise of a gas turbine exhaust duct and an armoured plate having an air layer communicated with the gas turbine exhaust duct laid in a building, by defining a gap between the armoured plate and a floor, and as well by arranging a ventilating device on the upper surface of the armoured plate. CONSTITUTION:In a combined power plant, a gap sufficient to introduce the ambient air is defined between an armoured plate 17 having an air layer communicated with a gas turbine exhaust duct 16 laid in a builing and a floor, and a ventilating device 14 for venting air is arranged on the upper surface of the armoured plate 17. With this arrangement, a high temperature air which is heated by radiative heat from a duct shell plating 15 is discharged to the outside of the building from the ventilating device 14 through the exhaust duct 16. Furhter, due to the provision of the gap between the armoured plate 17 and the floor, air inside of the building is led, as a cooling air, into the space between the duct shell plating 15 and the armoured plate 17 to cool down the outer surface of the duct shell plating 15 and as well to restrain the temperature rise of the armoured plate 17. |
