PURPOSE:To enable continuous caulking of plural points on a curved surface such as a cylinder etc. by constituting the device of plural anvils supported by a slidable plate allowing free sliding and a block that checks sliding of the anvils only at caulking position. CONSTITUTION:In a single spindle two-point rivet caulking device, a cylindrical work shown by alternate long and two short dash lines is set by two pilot pins 5 and in a state A. When a rivet is caulked by an anvil 12a, an anvil 12b is pushed by the work and slid easily in the direction of arrow X and the work becomes B state 13, and the rivet is caulked perpendicular to the face of the work. In this case, as the anvil 12 penetrates the hole of a plate 14 and strikes against a block 9, it is not slid in the direction X and caulking becomes possible. When pressure is released after caulking, the work returns to A state 11. When the work is rotated with the plate 14 in the direction of arrow Y, the anvil 12a becomes slidable. The anvil 12b strikes against the block 9 and continuous vertical caulking becomes possible. |
