The cutting blade 4 is thrust to the closed position by a jack associated with a directional control slide valve 17 which can occupy a position for supplying this jack with pressurised fluid and a rest position in which the fluid inlet pipeline 32 and the fluid return pipeline 35 are in direct communication via a widened opening 21, so that the fluid flows without pressure, it being possible for the motor of the hydraulic pump to be allowed to idle for the purpose of greatest possible energy saving. <IMAGE>
