PURPOSE:To make the mechanism simple and light in a mechanism that apply current from an input terminal of an electrode of a seam welding machine to an electrode shaft, by installing the input terminal in coaxial position with the electrode shaft and making it rotatable while pressure contacting the electrode shaft. CONSTITUTION:An input terminal 10 made to shaftlike form is provided at a position coaxial with an electrode shaft 6 and a spring 13 is interposed in the input terminal 10. The electrode shaft 6 is supported by an end of the input terminal through a bearing 8 incorporated in a front holder 7 and a driving shaft 9. When the front holder 7 is screwed in the body of the electrode 11, the electrode shaft 6 is pressure contacted with the input terminal 10, and the spring 13 is compressed. Accordingly, the input terminal 10 is pressure contacted with the electrode shaft 6 while having degree of freedom in the direction of rotation, and energizing becomes possible. |
