PURPOSE:To shift pickup detector at a speed corresponding to the selection of music and reproduction in a simple constitution by combining for control a feed means of the pickup detector and an optical axis shifting means of a focus control lens of the detector in accordance with the read mode. CONSTITUTION:In a fast forward mode for selection of music, the tracking traverse servo of a pickup detector 1 is released. Then a focus control lens 5 is offset by a prescribed degree via a voice coil 9 and an electromagnet 6, and then the traverse servo is carried out. Under such conditions, the detector 1 is fed quickly by means of a motor 2 and a screw 4. Thus the tracking shift degree of the lens 5 is reduced, and the program searching is possible in an easy, quick and assured way. While the detector 1 is fed at a normal speed via the screw 4 with no offset of the lens 5 and with the detector 1 kept in a traverse servo state. Thus a normal reproduction state is obtained. In such a way, the detector 1 can be shifted in a simple constitution at a speed corresponding to the selection of music and reproduction. |
