PURPOSE:To increase engine output required for vehicle operation by driving engine peripheral apparatuses while converting water sent from a water tank into steam by making use of exhaust gas and turning a turbine with the pressure of said steam. CONSTITUTION:High temperature exhaust gas is exhausted by driving an engine 1, and sent through an exhaust pipe 9 to a seam generating device 10. Then, the same device 10 converts water sent from a water tank 11 to steam by making use of exhaust heat. This steam is guided through piping 17 to a turbine 12, permitting the turbine 12 to be turned. And, the rotary force of the turbine 12 is transmitted to a power generator 4 via connecting shaft 21 to drive said generator 4. Further, the steam after driving the turbine 12 is again converted to water by means of a condenser 13 and forcedly sent to the above described device 10 via piping 18 and a check valve 20 by means of a pump 15. When the water in the closed loop described above becomes insufficient, water in the water tank 11 is supplied to the above described device 10 by means of a pump 14. |
