PURPOSE:To cut of smoothly an electric power supply by remote operation by cutting off the power supply after detecting the stoppage of the VTR of a magnetic recording/reproducing device. CONSTITUTION:A power supply of a VTR is cut off by either one of an operation circuit 1 within a TV camera, an operation circuit 2 within a monitor TV and an operation circuit 3 in a remote control device. Thus a system control logical circuit 4 of a VTRT stops the tape traveling of the VTR via a stopping means 5. This stoppage is detected by a stoppage detecting circuit 6, and the circuit 4 works in response to a detection signal. Then the power supply of the VTR is cut off via a power supply cut-off circuit 7. While the power supply of the VTR is immediately cut off via circuits 6, 4 and 7 if the working of the VTR is stopped. Thus it is possible to cut off smoothly the power supply of the VTR from a remote place. |
