<p>PURPOSE:To remove silicone in the waste gas and to purify the waste gas by heating the waste gas contg. silicone and then treating the gas with zeolite contg. specified metals. CONSTITUTION:Kaolin, silica gel or alumina sol is added as a binder to natural or synthetic zeolite contg. 1-30wt% >= one kinds of alkali metal e.g. Na, K, etc. or alkaline earth metal e.g. Mg, Ca, etc. together with water. The mixture is kneaded and molded to 0.1-10mm. phi grain, and dried and calcined. Industrial waste gas contg. evaporated or thermally decomposed silicone is held at >=250 deg.C and treated with the above described zeolite grains. Thus, the silicone contained in the waste gas is adsorbed and removed.</p> |
