The invention comprises a thermosetting composition. According to the invention, it contains a thermal initiator of free radicals and a thermoplastic, linear or cyclic reaction product containing ethylenic unsaturation of a substituted or unsubstituted acrylate ester of an epoxy resin containing at least one hydroxyl group and of a diol blocked by isocyanate. The invention applies especially to the adhesive bonding of materials such as metals or plastics.
