The present invention relates to apparatuses for application of molten heat-meltable materials from solid sticks. According to the invention, the thrusting of the solid sticks is carried out by a pusher 7 integral with a button 7b on which the user places his thumb. The solid sticks are inserted from the top of the apparatus via an articulated loader 6 comprising a stick reserve 9 or via an automatic loader comprising a stick reserve. The invention enables low-cost apparatuses to be used, avoiding the direct thrusting of the sticks by the thumb, whilst offering aesthetic and practical loading solutions with or without a stick reserve. <IMAGE>
