PURPOSE:To see a color blindness table at a colored part and then the same character at a colorless part, and to correct incomplete color blindness gradually by coloring part of a spectacle lens in red and making the remaining part colorless. CONSTITUTION:A character in the color blindness table is seen for 30 seconds through colored parts 1 of lenses 2 of sectacles and then through colorless parts. In this case, the character is not seen suddenly, but remains as an after image for 2-3 seconds and then disappears. When this operation is repeated several times, the time of the after image increases gradually and the time of the after image increases up to >=30 seconds after the operation is repeated about 100 times. This operation is repeated and the characters are seen vaguely, so that characters in the color blindness table which is not seen so far can be seen. |
