<p>PURPOSE:To improve a contrast while suppressing reflection of external rays on the external surface of a transparent panel of a projection cathode-ray tube by providing a non-reflection film on the external surface of the transparent panel. CONSTITUTION:A transparent panel 3 is arranged in front of a phosphor screen panel 1 with an interval of the prescribed length and a metal structure 2 having a thermal radiation effect is interposed between the peripheries of both panels 1 and 3 while sealing the space 5 surrounded by said metal structure 2 and both panels 1 and 3 and providing a non-reflection film 6 on the external surface of the transparent panel 3 in a cathode-ray tube inside of which a transparent coolant is sealed. The non-reflection film 6 is to be formed in a multilayer structure consisting of, for instance, magnesium fluoride and a rock crystal etc.</p> |
