PURPOSE:To miniaturize a titled device and to speed up operation by adopting a double-acting system in which feeding action of a striking die is performed by a pulse motor and a feeding screw and escaping action of the striking die is performed by an escaping cylinder. CONSTITUTION:A pulse motor 20 of back gauges 12-1, 12-2 is rotated according to bending dimensions. After shifting a shifting stand 18 to a specified position, an escaping cylinder 16 is operated in the advancing direction. A striking die holder 15 is moved forward and a striking die 14 arrives at a bending dimension setting position. The tip of a plate 1 is struck against the striking die 14 and the bending dimension is set. Then, an upper die 6 is lowered and the plate 1 is pressed and held between it and a lower die 7. The plate 1 is bent by rotating a bending die 8. At this time, the escaping cylinder 16 is operated in the retreating direction before rotation of the bending die 8. the striking die 14 is retreated to prevent interference between the bending die 8. |
