摘要 |
In the soilless cultivation of plants, in which the latter are held floating on the surface of a body of water and with their roots (13) immersed in the water (1), the water in contact with the roots of the stationarily retained plants is constantly exchanged and, in particular, guided past the roots in a horizontal flow. In this manner, the growth disorders caused by depletion or concentration of the nutrients, minerals, etc., dissolved or dispersed in the water are avoided. A floatable, stationarily anchored lattice structure (3), to which the plants (12) can be fastened, serves to retain the plants relative to the water. In this structure the mesh width may be adjustable in order, for example, to increase the distance between the plants with increasing growth of the latter. <IMAGE> |
