Device for cleaning boreholes of plugs consisting of suspended rock, which device has a housing 2 fastened to a pipe string and having passages for supplying the drilling fluid to the borehole and for lifting the pulp. The housing 2 is provided with a water jet pump 8, which is constructed in the configuration of a top connection piece 9 and a bottom connection piece 10, between which an annular ejector passage 11 is formed, and with means 12 for mechanically loosening the plugs. The device is additionally provided with an airlift 13 which is constructed in the form of an additional connection piece 14 which has an airlift passage 15 which is connected to a pipe string 3 for supplying a gaseous medium to the pulp. The connection piece 14 is arranged in the interior of the housing 2 in such a way that the discharge opening of the airlift passage 15 lies in a vacuum zone 16, near to the wall, of the ejector passage 11, while the angle of inclination of the passage 15 to the axis of the housing 2 is not greater than the angle of inclination of the passage 11. <IMAGE>
