PURPOSE:To prevent a clearance from being generated at a circumferential edge of a ceiling heater panel caused by a thermal expansion by a method wherein edge part expansion or retraction member is arranged at an end surface of the ceiling heater panel. CONSTITUTION:A ceiling heater panel 1 is composed of a ceiling member 2 of gypsum board, a metallic plate 3 arranged over an entire upper surface of the ceiling member, spacers 4, planar heaters 5 arranged between each of the spacers 4 on the upper surface of the ceiling member 2 and reinforcement plates 6 arranged over an entire area of the spacers 4 and the heater body. Belt-like expansion or retraction members 9 composed of resin or rubber foam material are connected to the end surfaces of the ceiling heater panel 1. The expansion or retraction absorbing members 9 are used for absorbing a variation in clearance S caused by a thermal expansion of the circumferential edge between the adjoining ceiling heater panels. If a section of the edge part expansion or retraction absorbing members 9 is made to an upper enlarged and tapered shape, it is possible to keep the side surfaces of the absorbing materials always abutted against the end surface of each of the panels even if the clearance S varies. |
