In a transductor-controlled rectifier system in six-pulse interface transformer connection with a converter transformer, the two star-connected three-phase secondary windings of which are connected to one another via an interface transformer at the star-point end, the centre tap of which transformer forms the negative terminal of the direct-voltage side, the phase connections of the three coils of each secondary winding being connected to alternating-current rails located in parallel in pairs, in such a manner that the coil of one winding forms a pair with the coil of the other winding the induced voltages of which are phase-shifted over 180 DEG , and between parallel-located alternating-current rail pairs one direct-current rail each is arranged, the direct-current rails being connected to the associated alternating-current rails via semiconductor rectifiers and the parallel-connected direct-current rails forming the positive terminal of the direct-current side, each direct-current rail is associated with a transductor (45, 46, 47) and the series-connected control coils of the transductors are connected to a control arrangement (45 to 56) which forms a control variable for keeping the direct current constant from the actual current value and a nominal current value. <IMAGE>
