A pumping valve for boats, especially for rubber dinghies, has a closure element consisting of an elastically deformable material and having a closure member in the shape of a segment of a sphere which can be brought, with prestress, in contact with the exterior, annular edge surface of an outlet aperture; this closure member is connected via a cord-shaped intermediate region to an attachment ring which can be suspended in a corresponding counterpiece on the inside of the boat. The intermediate region extends through the outlet aperture. The attachment ring has a greater diameter than the outlet aperture, so that it can only be pulled through the outlet aperture if high forces are applied.
