Novel substd. heterocyclic phenoxy amines of formula (I) are prepd. by reacting 3, 5-dihalophenols of formula (5) with amines of formula (6). m is 0 or 2; n is 0 or 2 (m+n=2); A is alkoxy or alkenyl oxy; X is halogen; R is alkyl, cycloalkyl, alkenyl, cycloalkenyl, cycloalkylalkyl, or cycloalkenylalkyl; and Y is a removable anion.
