A bed cover having a filling of natural fibres, feathers and/or synthetic filling materials and quilted with a covering material is provided, adaptation of the temperature distribution to the human body being obtained by virtue of the bed cover being divided into at least three sections, of which the upper section has a lightweight filling, the middle section has a heavier filling than the upper section and the lower section has a heavier filling than the middle section.
