A combat vehicle, especially a battle tank, having an entry and exit hatch arranged on the top side of the vehicle body or of the turret and closable by means of a cover. The hatch cover is constructed from two cover parts of differing mass movable relative to one another. An upper cover part (1) is arranged above the hatch aperture (6) and is displaceable parallel to the closing plane of the hatch. In a first embodiment, a lower cover part (2) movable perpendicularly to the closing plane is arranged on the underside of the upper cover part (1). For closing, the upper cover part (1) is pushed over the hatch aperture, and then the lower cover part (2) is lowered until the hatch is sealingly closed. In a second embodiment, the upper and lower cover parts are separated. The lower cover part is designed as a cylindrical ring and is arranged within the hatch aperture so as to be movable perpendicularly to the closing plane. For closing, the upper cover part is pushed over the hatch aperture, and then the lower cover part is raised until the upper edge of the cylindrical ring bears sealingly against the underside of the upper cover part. <IMAGE>
