PURPOSE:To improve the utilizing factor of light and the sensitivity by forming a pattern corresponding to a picture element on a color filter formed on an element and forming a projected plane after the pattern is heated and sagged. CONSTITUTION:A thermoplastic transparent resin is coated on the surface of the color filter formed on a solid-state image pickup element or an element, exposed and developed to form a pattern 6 corresponding to a picture element. The pattern is sagged partially to form a projected part on the element by heating the thermoplastic resin 6 formed in this way. When the sensitivity to a specific picture element is desired to be increased, the processing above is applied to the part. Thus, the projected plane is formed on the element easily and the sensitivity is improved by increasing the utilizing factor of light. Since the projected plane is manufactures selectively, the color sensitivity is improved selectively. |
