1. Automatic inflating apparatus for a divers life jacket, comprising a breathing sensor and a time delay element which, if the pressure fluctuations in the first stage of the breathing equipment caused by breathing cease for a fairly long period, opens an inflating valve (15), characterized in that the breathing sensor comprises a casing (1) having an annular, elastic membrane (9) and a stop plate (5), bridging across the aperture of the membrane and displaceable in the casing, this casing being disposed at one end of a pressure balancing chamber (7), at the opposite end of which a casing (2) comprising a time delay element (3, 10, 11) is mounted, which is connected by means of a connecting rod (6) passing through the pressure balancing chamber with the stop plate (5), which latter prossesses a collar which, if breathing ceases for a fairly long period, opens the inflating valve (15). |
