PURPOSE:An oil composition for temper-rolling that contains a specific proportion of wax, which is approved by FDA, fatty acids, triethanolamine, mineral oil and nonionic surface active agents, thus being dispersible in an aqueous medium and showing high rusting resistance and good coating properties. CONSTITUTION:The objective oil composition is composed of (A) 10-60wt% of at least one selected from the group consisting of petroleum wax, synthetic wax, and lanolin, which are specified by FDA paragraphs No.178-3910, (B) 5- 40% of fatty acids, (C) 5-30% of triethanolamine and (D) 10-40% of mineral oil, additionally, (E) 1-20% of polyethylene glycol monostearate and/or a nonionic surfactant specified by FDA paragraph No.178-3400. The resultant composition is used after it is emulsified in water containing 0.1-10% of alcohols or glycols. |
