The invention relates to a measuring device. The device for converting a non-electrical variable into an electrical signal contains a measuring and a compensation bridge circuit (1 and, respectively, 2), the feed diagonals of which are connected to a feed source (3). A non-electrical variable, for example deformation, force, pressure, acts on the input of the measuring bridge circuit (1), the output of which is connected to the input of a measurement transducer (4). The influence of disturbing factors, for example of a temperature, an electromagnetic field, and ageing of the components of the device in time, is reduced by the existing compensation bridge circuit (2), the output of which is located at the input of a correction transducer (6). The measuring bridge circuit forms one branch of the compensation bridge circuit (2) whilst the correction transducer (6) has differential outputs to which controllable dividers (7, 8, 9, 10) are connected, the number of which corresponds to the amount of compensation variables. The outputs of the dividers (7, 8, 9, 10) are connected to the constructional member (5) for displacement and a circuit for scale matching of the function characteristic of the device. The device also contains a controllable bridge circuit (11) for compensating for any non-linearity of its function characteristic and a component for changing the slope of the function characteristic of the device.
