PURPOSE:To improve the waveform distortion of an analog multiplier at high frequency operation with simple circuit constitution by giving a constant current source to an emitter so as not to turn off a transistor. CONSTITUTION:Each emitter of a transistors (TR) 3-6 is connected to a constant current source 15-18 (current value I2) and an emitter of the TRs 3, 4 is connected to a collector of a TR 7 of a differential amplifier via diodes 19, 20 respectively. Further, the emitter of the TRs 5, 6, is connected to a collector of a TR 8 of the differential amplifier. Even when the current being the multiplication of the 1st and 2nd input signals is zero, a double current I2 flows to load resistors 10, 11 together with a multiplication signal current. Then the TRs 3-6 are always activated and the reply to the input signal V2 is fast and the multiplication output with less waveform distortion is obtained. |
