The invention relates to apparatus for continuously applying of flowable media to passing lengths of material or rollers with pendular mounting. The pendular mounting comprises two pendulum bars, which are connected together in a torsionally rigid manner by a roller shaft carrying the rollers. A force transmission element is seated near one pendulum bar and is engaged by a thrust drive, and a trough carrier carrying the trough is rotatably and arrestably mounted on it. On the opposite end side of the roller, a motor support with a drive motor for the roller is arranged so as to be rotatable about the roller shaft near the pendulum bar provided there, and is non rotatably supported on the machine frame by a slide guide and carries a further rotatable and arrestable trough holder.
