The circuit arrangement for the transmission of information in both directions between two stations in two-wire transmission networks has an intermediate station, wherein information transmitted in a logic system is supplied in the form of FSK (frequency shift keying) modulated signals to an FSK demodulator. The FSK signal is converted by the demodulator into a logic level. The new FSK signal is generated from this logic level by the following FSK modulator, so that a new transmission signal, which is free from interference, is thus generated in each intermediate station.
