Accessible scaffolding element for a sloping roof, which permits working without previously laying any covering. A rider with angled-off bearers in ladder form, which can be fitted on the roof ridge, is provided. The spreading angle of the rider is adapted to the inclination of the sloping roof by means of a joint. The joint has two regulating elements, which can be arrested with respect to each other by pinning. The bearers are specified as having an angled-off configuration, by means of which the rider spans the roof ridge at a distance over it. Provided at the ends of the rider are suspension pins, which make it possible to extend the scaffolding by roof ladders. Brackets can be hung on the rungs of the roof ladders.
