The invention relates to a rig for a sailboard having an oversized width and being suitable as an instruction board for basic concepts and gaining technical skills. It is suitable for the sector of instructing boardsailors or for private use for unproblematic handling due to a fixed rig and an oversized width of the board, see Figure 8. In the possible use for the rig, the board, which is manufactured solely in accordance with design calculations, is provided with safe handling in practical use in accordance with safety provisions. It can be used in technical terms for any board and is suitable for practising after thorough instruction. <IMAGE>
