PURPOSE:To increase the rotating speed of a main spindle and improve working efficiency by a method wherein a servomotor for feeding the tool is provided with a rotating mode in accordance with a pulse and the rotating mode of high speed retreat to move the supporting body of the tool in a speed higher than the numerical control maximum pulse distributing speed. CONSTITUTION:Flip flops FF1, FF2 are reset by a release signal given from the main body of a numerical control unit to make first motion mode and the servomotor 18 rotates correctly with a speed in accordance with the frequency of a numerical command pulse NCP by an amount in accordance with the number of pulse. On the other hand, when a rapid retreat command is outputted from the main body of the numerical control unit and the flip flop FF1 is set, the second motion mode is accomplished, an analog gate AG1 is opened to supply a command voltage VC to an adder 47, a deviation counter 40 is reset simultaneously and the output of a DA converter 41 becomes zero. Therefore, the voltage VC is supplied to an operator 44 and the motor 18 rotates with a high speed into a direction of retreat of the tool supporting body 13. Accordingly, the work piece may be rotated in a high speed and the working efficiency may be improved. |
