<p>PURPOSE:To store plural disks and to ensure free accesses with these disks by providing a store part containing plural store parts holding optical disks and retainers, a picker part which picks up a selected pair of optical disk and retainer and an accessor part of the picker part. CONSTITUTION:An accessor part 14 has a vertical/horizontal shift mechanism to shift picker parts 1 and 3 as well as to carry optical disks to read/write parts 1 and 5. The store parts 11 of a store part 12 are formed with partition plates 23, and each part 11 is divided into upper and lower parts. Then an optical disk 21 and a retainer 22 are stored in each part 11, and a picker part 13 is positioned at a selected place. The part 13 moves toward an arrow A to store the disk 21 and the retainer 22 into the case of the part 13 as well as to release the lock of the retainer 22. When the part 13 is moved toward B, the disk 21 and the retainer 22 are taken out and sent to a read/write part 15. In such a constitution, a special disk case is not needed. In addition, the vibration proof is improved for an optical disk device.</p> |
