PURPOSE:To provide a method for the production of the titled hose in good yield, wherein the extension of the hose can be obviated when a mandrel is withdrawn from the hose, and an elongate mandrel can be used, by semivulcanizing a rubber hose with reinforcing threads therein, and then withdrawing a mandrel from the rubber hose. CONSTITUTION:First, the unvulcanized rubber hose 8 with reinforcing threads therein is taken up onto a take-up drum 18, and then after it is semivulcanized in an autoclave 20 or the like, the rubber hose 8 is withdrawn from the mandrel 2. Then after the semivulcanized rubber hose 8 is cut, a bent mandrel 24 is inserted into the cut semivulcanized rubber hose followed by the vulcanization to obtain the intended rubber hose. As the mandrel 2 may be preferably used a flexible mandrel of a nylon, or the like. |
