摘要 PURPOSE:To prevent a copper wire from insulation damage, breaking and the like during the winding process and reduce a copper loss by employing a super rapid quenched thin metal strip whose width is narrow at the beginning of the winding and becomes wider gradually and after reaching the required maximum width, becomes narrower again gradually. CONSTITUTION:A ribbon of a super rapid quenched thin metal film is introduced and its width is small at the beginning of the winding and becomes wider gradually and after reaching the certain maximum width corresponding to the dimensions and the shape of a wound magnetic core at its finishing process, becomes smaller again gradually. For instance, Fe-6.5% Si thin strip or amorphous magnetic thin strip of Fe-Si-B system or Co-Si-B system or the like, made by a liquid rapid quenching method, is used as a magnetic thin strip. With this constitution, a cross-sectional shape of the core becomes smooth so that breaking of the copper wire and the damage to the insulation and the like are avoided and at the same time, as the copper wire can be wound on the core more tightly, the copper loss is reduced.
