PURPOSE:To prevent the sticking of a carrier to an electrophotographic sensitive body during development with a two-component type developer by providing fine dense unevenness to the surface of the uppermost insulating layer of the sensitive body having a three-layered structure. CONSTITUTION:A photoconductive layer of CdS or the like is formed on an electrically conductive member of Al or the like, and the photoconductive layer is coated with a transparent insulating layer such as a polyester film to manufacture an electrophotographic sensitive body having a three-layered structure. At this time, fine dense unevenness of about 0.01-2mum roughness including innumerable projections is provided to the surface of the insulating layer. For example, the surface of the insulating layer is physically processed with an abrasive material or the like after manufacturing the sensitive body, or silica is added during the formation of a film for the insulating layer, and the resulting film having surface unevenness is stuck to the photoconductive layer. |
