PURPOSE:To enable a quick analysis with a simple device and with high sensitivity by providing a means, such as a chromatograph, for separating an Ni- nitroso compd. from a sample, a means for generating NO by bringing the separated R-N-NO compd. into a chemical reaction, and a means for detecting NO. CONSTITUTION:An R-N-NO compd. formed by treating a sample contg. an Ni- nitroso compd. (R-N-NO) with a gas chromatograph and liquid chromatograph in a sample introducing part and feeding the same via a pressure regulating valve 2 to a sample injecting port 3 is mixed with a soln. contg. HBr and acetic acid from a reacting liquid tank 6 and the mixture is fed to a reaction tube 4. The gas energizing from the tube 4 is subjected to a gas-liquid sepn. The gaseous NO from a waste liquid tank 7 is detected and quantiatively determined with a chemical luminescence detector and a mass spectromer, etc. in a detecting part 9 via a cold trap 8. The quantitative determination with high sensitivity is thus made possible by the selective analysis of N-NO with the simple device. |
