摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain the titled conversion element, loss therein such as Joule loss is small and constitution thereof is simple, by forming the conversion element by a magnetic core consisting of two or more of magnetic materials, windings wound on the magnetic materials and a piezoelectric body inserted into the joining section of the magnetic materials. CONSTITUTION:A winding 4 is wound around the central leg 3 of an E core 1, and a piezoelectric body 5 consisting of PbTiO3 group ceramics, etc. is inserted into the joining section of the E core 1 and an I core 2. Electrodes 6 are mounted at both ends of the piezoelectric body 5 through a method such as evaporation, and two terminals 7 are drawn out of the electrodes 6. When DC currents are flowed through the winding 4 in the constitution, the I core and the E core are absorbed mutually owing to a magnetic field generated by currents, pressure is applied to the piezoelectric body 5, and voltage is generated between the two terminals set up to the piezoelectric body. When minute currents are converted into high voltage by using the current-voltage conversion element, Joule loss due to windings can be reduced when using a copper wire of a large wire diameter as the winding 4, and pressure applied to the piezoelectric body can be increased when the number of winding of the winding 4 is augmented, thus allowing a conversion into high voltage of minute currents.
