PURPOSE:To reduce resistance to sliding and make movement of a rod smooth by providing seal members in a sliding part of a cylinder and a rod and also providing, on the leaking side of the seal member of the cylinder, a leakage oil takeout port communicating with a gap of said sliding part. CONSTITUTION:Oil 2 is contained in a cylinder 1, and a hollow rod 3 is also slidably inserted in said cylinder. A free piston 6 inserted slidably in the rod 3 partitions the rod into a gas chamber 7 and an oil chamber 8. Seal members 22, 23 are provided in the upper side and the lower side of a sliding part of the cylinder 1 and the rod 3. Further, a leakage oil takeout port 24, provided on the leaking side of one seal member 22, leads to a reservoir tank 14 of a hydraulic unit 12 through an oil pipeline 25. This enables use of seal members 22, 23 with slight resistance to sliding and also makes smooth a movement of the rod 3. |
