PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency of the titled processor by previously registering the number of reference bytes, comparing the number with the number of unprocessed data bytes left at present, and if an interruption is generated, rejecting the interruption when the completion of the processing in executing shortens the time. CONSTITUTION:When the number of remaining data bytes set up in a data counter 8 is less than a value setup in a data register at the generation of an interruption from the external, the output of a comparator 10 is turned to ''0'' and the output state of an AND gate 11 is turned to ''0'', so that the external interruption is ignored, an instruction in executing is continued and the interruption is accepted just before the execution of the succeeding instruction. In this case, the information to be saved on a main storage device or read out to restart may be permitted only to the minimum information such as the address of the instruction to be restarted succeedingly. |
