PURPOSE:To provide a disazo dye which dyes cellulose-contg. fibers, particularly cellulose fiber and fiber blends of polyester fiber and cellulose fiber, orange to blue with excellent fastness to light, etc., having a specified structural formula. CONSTITUTION:The titled disazo dye for cellulose-contg. fibers is obtd. from a compd. having a structural formula I (wherein D is substd. or unsubstituted phenyl, pyridyl, thiazolyl, benzothiazolyl ; R<1> is cyano, alkoxycarbonyl ; R<2>, R<3> are each substd. or unsubstituted alkyl, cyclohexyl, alkenyl, aryl ; Y is -NR<4>R<5> or -OR<6> ; R<4>, R<5>, R<6> are each H, alkyl which may be substituted with cyano, hydroxyl, lower alkoxy or dialkylamino, etc. ; R<4> and R<5> may form a five-membered or six-membered ring when combined together ; X is F, Cl).
