PURPOSE:To obtain a heat-sensitive recording material high in reliability of images, by a method wherein a layer comprising bisphenol A is provided on a base, and a layer comprising a leuco dye and a specified aromatic sulfide is laminated thereon. CONSTITUTION:A coating liquid obtained by adding a binder such as polyvinyl alcohol or hydroxyethyl cellulose, a filler or the like to bisphenol is applied onto the base, and after drying, a coating liquid comprising a known leuco dye and an aromatic sulfide of the formula (wherein t-Bu represents a tertiary butyl group) and further comprising a binder, a filler, a heat-fusible substance or the like added thereto is applied thereon, followed by drying to obtain a heat- sensitive recording sheet. |
