PURPOSE:To accurately restrain the rise in output by maintaining a piston valve at a required closing position using suction negative pressure of an engine and restricting the amount of suction air of said engine to be constant. CONSTITUTION:In an engine output restraining device, a restricting member 16 travels between a first closing position which is used in a piston 5 for a variable Venturi type carburetor at the time of normal operation, and a second closing position whose opening is less than that of the first closing position. In order to provide atmospheric pressure difference, which makes both the restricting member 16 and the piston valve 5 move to the second closing position, between the atmospheric pressure chamber 11 and the negative pressure chamber 10 of the carburetor, the atmospheric pressure chamber 11 is connected to a suction negative pressure generating part in the lower course of a throttle valve 4, while providing a control valve 22, which connects the negative pressure chamber 10 to the atmosphere. Therefore, by maintaining the least opening position, to which the piston valve 5 is restricted through the negative pressure of the engine output can be accurately restrained. |
